Brevard Veterans

Memorial Center, Inc.

           This organization was set up by the Brevard Veterans Council to operate the Center & Park.  Day to day operation is handled by a 17 member Executive Board, which the council elects from representatives nominated by the Veterans organizations in Brevard County.  This is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization.  Individual membership cost is the same as for the Council organizational members.  Membership of the Brevard Veterans Council automatically includes Center membership.

          There are two primary programs managed by the Center, the Military Museum and the Multi-Media Library.

Museum: 

          A museum is maintained to display military artifacts and memorabilia of all wars in which the United States has been engaged since the Revolutionary War.  Items in the museum have either been donated or loaned for display, and all military services are represented.  Admission is FREE.

     HOURS:  Monday - Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Sunday noon to 5:00 pm.

Multi-Media Library: 

          This library currently includes a variety of books, VCR tapes and DVDs, audio tapes and still photography, all relating to the history of the U. S. military.  The library is also open to the public.  Brevard County residents may checkout items to be used, then returned.

     HOURS:  Monday - Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Sunday noon to 5:00 pm.
