Troop Support Photo Album
(click on the camera for photos!)
It is always a
good feeling to know that the Troops we are supporting with
supplies, return home safely. It is an even better feeling to
actually meet these troops. Maury and I had the privilege of
meeting the plane that brought back part of the 920th to Patrick AFB
on Sunday, May 10th.
Our "Troop
Support" Program is still active and our list is growing. We
would like to "Thank" members of Grace United Methodist Church on
Merritt Island for the tremendous support they gave during the
Deployment of the 920th. They have told me that it will not
stop just because one of their own has returned home.
We need your
support as well. Over the past four years, we have shipped
thousands and thousands of pounds of much-needed items to our
Troops. Many of you have helped us with articles and some with
cash donations. Our fund is running low
and we are in need of financial assistance. We do not
want to stop supporting our Troops; however, we need your support.
I know that a lot of you are on fixed incomes and it is a very
difficult time in our country financially, but we cannot let our
troops down. If you can make a cash donation to this Project,
we would be most grateful.
If you would like
to make a donation, you can do it two ways. Please make your
checks out to the Veterans Memorial Center / Troop Support
and 1) mail it to Emma Meisner, Treasurer, at 400 s. Sykes Creek
Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida 32952-3547 or 2) drop it off at the
Office and tell the MOD that your donation is for the "Troop
Project". They will make sure it gets to my mailbox.
Again, thank you
for your past support and thank you for your on-going support.
God Bless Our
Troops,
Emma Meisner,
Treasurer
